Alternatively, if you want to enjoy classic mountain walks with gorgeous scenery and breath-taking views, then you can do so right from the doorstep. You do not even need your car to enjoy miles & miles of unspoilt countryside. the house & barn are interconnected and your party is assured that we only take one party per booking which means you have total privacy other than the caretakers who live away from the buildings within the grounds. You won' t notice them unless you need them.

Area Description :
Situated within private grounds of 22 acres comprising 15 acres of woodlands with paths (please note that the woods are sometimes off limits when there is tree felling or bridge reconstruction), two paddocks of approximately two acres each, a wildflower meadow of approximately three acres. There are three wildlife ponds within the grounds. Far moor end has a long frontage on the river ehen which is a site of special scientific interest (s.S.S.I.). The grounds surrounding far moor end attract an abundance of wildlife, including red squirrels.
